This is our lightest folding table (just 37.4 lbs for a 6ft
table).
It is not our strongest or most durable option.
So for a demanding hospitality venue,
with wine and beer flowing through the evening, we do not recommend this
table.
But, for the right location, it is an excellent
table that we are happy to cover with our 5-year unconditional guarantee.
If you are a school, church hall, office, home
user or similar
setting, then this is a good option at an excellent price.
COMPETITORS
There are several tables on the
market that appear very similar to the Duralite. You can check
them out from our competitor listing on the Folding Supplier Page.
However, all the ones we have
inspected have had less strength in the frame, a less effective system to
attach the frame to the top, often no safety catch on the leg mechanism and less durable tops.
I recommend checking these features before buying other tables.
So, amongst the options at this
level of specification, I am confident that the Duralite is the best buy.
However, if you do have a demanding venue, I would not recommend that you buy
any of them, including the Duralite. You then need to upgrade to a
stronger table like the Commercialite or
Mity-Lite.
STRENGTH
We recommend a maximum load of
550 lbs for these tables, except the fold in half version for which we
recommend a maximum of 220lbs. These are conservative limits, and
you will find less strong tables with "higher" ratings. But
it is better to be safe than sorry.
STOCK
